Kalahari Kiss

Hi everyone! I am trying to get back into a normal posting routine but it has been another busy week for us. We had to move hotels the other day since the A/C died in our first one but on the bright side now we have a pool! Anyways, my pictures will be a bit different for awhile. I don't have my usual set up and I'm chasing natural sunlight to take them at the moment.
Today I have a polish from the China Glaze On Safari collection for fall. Kalahari Kiss is a light yellow-beige sandy creme. I didn't think I would but I really love this shade. Picture is two coats with top coat. I had a hard time with the formula though, it's thick and hard to work with making it very uneven.

Do you have a favorite polish that at first you didn't think you would like?

Color Club SCI-FI

Hey everyone, I hope you are doing great! We just finished up visiting with family last week, we had a great time, and are now back to what will be our new home. Hopefully, we will be moving into our house soon but until then we are staying in a hotel. Since most of our things are still being shipped I don't have a light box to take pictures in and haven't had a chance to take pictures while the sun is out so I am using a picture I took a while back but never posted.
Today I have a Color Club magnetic polish. This is SCI-FI, it's an olive green with gold glitter and what looks like gold flakes, which probably makes this one my favorite magnetic polish. On my middle and ring finger I turned the magnet backwards and sideways for different designs. Picture is two coats. I had no problems with the formula, it was bumpy without top coat but I think that is from the glitter and flakes in the polish.

This is SCI-FI before the magnet.

Are you loving magnetic polishes? I know I am but at the same time I can't wait to get back into doing nail art in the next few days!

Revlon Tangerine

Hey everyone! I've still been pretty busy so I apologize for the lack of posts recently. I didn't get around to doing any nail art for the fourth of July but I should be back to doing nail art and tutorials soon.
Today I have Revlon Tangerine which is a bright orange with gold shimmer. It is super bright and very summery. Usually, I love orange polish but this one just doesn't go great with my skin. Picture is three coats. The only problem I had was it is bit runny.

Green Glitter Gradient

Say that three times fast! We are still visiting family, we actually just left my parents on the East coast to visit my husbands family on the West coast and will be with them for the next week.
This is OPI Stranger Tides for the base with Sinful Colors Open Seas, Wet N Wild Carribean Frost and TiNS The Surf Boy sponged over the tips in that order for a gradient effect. I think this has to be one of my favorite gradients, I love all the green shades together!

The Surf Boy is a lime green glitter polish. It has stunning square iredescent glitter that you can see in the picture below. How pretty is that?
